NYC

Summer is here! It's traveling season. Who's with me?! Joel and I mostly do our traveling during the off season. It's cheaper and there are less crowds. The exception is NYC. Prices drop but the people don't! Man oh man was this trip fun. It was exhausting but fun! My husband and I traveled by train out of Union Station in DC. Don't worry I will fill you in on my DC travel guide later! This was his first visit to the city so naturally we made all the tourist stops. Well, most of them. We only had 2 days in the city!

The first thing we did was grab a New York bagel. Can you say YUM!? Then we moseyed around Times Square. Seriously, there was so much to look at. We spent most of the afternoon shopping, sightseeing, and eating pizza in midtown. I dragged Joel into Anthropologie, and it's two floors of shopping heaven! That evening we had dinner at Refinery Rooftop before seeing Aladdin on Broadway. The food was amazing and the views to die for. This was such a perfect date night.

On our last day we headed to the Central Park Zoo. How was it, you ask? Ummm... most gorgeous zoo ever! I mean, I've only visited one other zoo but this one was way better ;). Afterwards, we awed inside the Apple store and stuffed our faces with authentic NY sandwiches. Despite all of our walking I think I gained 10lbs from all the food... Oops.

On that note time for a juice cleanse!
