Coffee Table Styling

With a toddler running around it can be hard to keep my coffee table styled to my liking. A few broken coasters later and I still haven’t learned my lesson. My daughter is constantly rearranging things as I am right behind her putting them back into place.

Today I am sharing how I style my coffee table. Now I’m gonna be completely honest with you guys. I have a love/hate relationship with our table. My beef is there is no seal on the wood which makes stains more difficult. Spills are inevitable, so my trick is to pour salt on the wound (get it?) and rub it in. It’s kind of like an exfoliator for your table (hey everyone needs a spa day).

I like to break things up by sections. In the center, I have my magazines and books. They are obviously decor related. Make this something you enjoy. To the right, I placed my new wooden bowl. That’s where we keep the remotes but it seems little hands have misplaced them… I found them in my car once. On the other side, I like to interchange vases. This week we have hydrangeas. After you divide and conquer your 3 sections, it’s time to fill in the blanks. Coasters are always a good idea because they are practical. Finally, candles are great because they smell freaking amazing. My favorite scent is Volcano by Capri Blue. Also, feel free to include cute matches and other decorative objects.
