Foyer Reveal

Happy November! I love this month so much because I get all these awesome emails/free stuff/coupons/cake because its my birth month! Woo Hoo! I have set big goals for this month and can’t wait to share them all with you, but for now I’m sharing this foyer makeover! Before we start, I have to admit that I am terrible and didn’t take before photos :(. Next time guys, next time. Let’s jump in.

This was such a simple project, but it’s packed with details and style. First, we changed the paint color, went from a gray to this robin egg blue. Exact color is Behr Street Wise. Next, crown molding and new baseboards were installed throughout the main living spaces. That alone made a huge difference. If your looking to add that wow factor, and can’t put your finger on what the room needs, try refreshing your baseboards, crown molding, or paint.

This mirror was originally painted gold. It was beautiful and a high quality piece, but no longer fit the color pallet in the room. I suggested that the owner paint it silver and antique the details, she did. It turned out great and kept the budget low! Win-win. The hooks were also a DIY project, along with that wreath. Say what?! Yes, super crafty lady. Not me, the homeowner!

When planning out this space, I knew a bench would be a practical but beautiful addition. We found this one and styled the pillow (and the dog) to create a cozier feel. I traded an outdated chandelier for this glass pendant and replaced the rug with this cool toned one. Lastly, the sign. I have a love hate relationship with the sign! It took what feels like forever to get here. Needless to say it finally did and was so worth it. I am so happy with this transformation. I kinda want to steal it all and put it in my home. But I won’t. LOL
